I have been in real estate for over 30 years. I started my career in Columbia, MD at Prudential, Re/Max Columbia and then Re/Max Advantage. After a couple of years at Re/Max Advantage, my mother and I opened a small real estate company called Astor Properties which was located in Baltimore.
I married my husband, Don Moran in 2002 and we have 1 son named Jack. In 2010, we moved to the Wilmington, Carolina Beach, NC area where we enjoy the beach life. Since moving here and living on the water I have been able to enjoy such activities as boating, kayaking and dolphin watching. In 2012, my husband decided to join me in the real estate business and we have formed The Moran Real Estate Team.
Moving to a new city has been very rewarding because I have gotten to meet a lot of new friends and learn about a new city and it's historical aspects. We have enjoyed it so much here that we convinced my in-laws to move here in our neighborhood.

My wife and I had to quickly relocate from the Boston area to Wilmington, NC as our house sold in the first 24 hours. We did some research on local agents in Wilmington, NC and found the Moran Real Estate Team. Our first impression after our initial interview was awesome. We could tell that they are in the business to help people, and help us is exactly what they did! By the end of our 1st conversation they made us feel like they new exactly what our needs were for our new home. After several 'face time' appointments via iPhone they found us about 25 homes that we had to come down and see in person. We flew down and started the process. It turns out that we looked at all of the homes they had lined up but we honestly purchased the very first home they showed us! Talk about amazing! It checked all of the boxes! We weren't looking to buy a beach property while on vacation. Suddenly a good opportunity fell into our lap but we only had 2 days left on our trip. Deanna graciously arranged for us to see the property the next day. She coordinated everything so that we would not have to stay past our departure time to get the paperwork rolling. She helped to establish a swift closing date. She was able to negotiate a lower purchase price for us after the inspection. Just before settlement a hurricane hit. I feel like she held our hand through it, and everything worked out fine. We definitely would recommend Deanna. She also contacted the selling agent when our closing was extended as a glitch occurred on their side. She asked that the seller pay the extra money charged for the extension. This was agreed upon.
